PAX Prime takes place this weekend and virtual reality (VR) is set to have some presence at the show in the form of Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD) compatible videogames. One such title is E McNeill’s Darknet, the anticipated ‘hollywood hacking’ experience that’s aiming to launch alongside the consumer version of the Oculus Rift. VRFocus spoke to McNeill earlier to get an update on the title’s progress.
In the interview below McNeill gives a brief rundown on Darknet, talks about how close the title is to completion and talks on the possibility of bringing the title to other VR HMDs, including PlayStation 4’s Project Morpheus. The title is showing throughout PAX Prime 2014 at the Indie Megabooth along with the likes of Enemy Starfighter and XING: The Land Beyond.
VRFocus will continue to follow Darknet going forward, reporting back with any further updates.
