Next month sees the launch of a new virtual reality (VR) compatible horror experience in Doorways: The Underworld, the third installment in the Doorways series from indie developed Saibout Studios. The title is set to launch on PC on 17th September 2014 with full support for PC, Mac and Linux with full support for the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display. Now new screenshots of the experience have arrived, which can be seen below.
A total of eight images are included, showing off Doorways: The Underworld‘s dank environments and horrific character design. Players are cast as Thomas Foster, an agent of the Doorways organisation that hunts depraved criminals with his psychic powers. Here players control Foster as he hunts his next target, The Surgeon. Players will solve puzzles and fight to survive in a first-person perspective as they progress through the title.
Doorways: The Underworld features voice acting from the likes of Sam A. Mowry, who is best known for his work in celebrated horror classic Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Those interested can pre-order the experience now with a 25 percent discount, set at £5.24 GBP. At launch it will be priced at £6.99. VRFocus will continue to follow the title going forward, reporting back with any further updates on its progress.
