Archaic Gets First Screenshots

Earlier this week Silent Sheep Games launched a Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming dinosaur survival title, Archaic. The crowd-funding campaign is looking to raise $10,000 USD to help develop the title, with a $50,000 stretch goal promising support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display. Now the first screenshots for Archaic have arrived, and can be seen below.

A total of seven different screenshots can be seen below, showcasing a number of factors about Archaic. First off, three of the dinosaur models are shown, giving us a good look at the types of creatures we can expect to encounter in the full title, from tyranosaurus rexes to triceratopses. There’s also a glimpse of the character models for players and even some direct gameplay shots that showcase weapons such as axes and machine guns.

Archaic is an online title in which players gather resources and build settlements to defend themselves against dinosaurs. Should the campaign prove successful then the developer hopes to the launch the title on both PC and Mac in June 2015. VRFocus will continue to follow the title going forward, reporting back with any further updates on its development.
