Indie developer Ape Law is currently running a Kickstarter campaign for its intriguing virtual reality (VR) compatible survival horror title, Albino Lullaby. The developer hopes to raise $25,000 USD to fund development of the PC title, which supports the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD). But what about other platforms? More specifically, could the title arrive on PlayStation 4? According to the developer it’s just a ‘matter or time’.
When asked about a PlayStation 4 tier for its Kickstarter campaign, the developer revealed that such a port would either be a “stretch goal or matter of time TBA – We are UE4, so soon after PC and Oculus Rift.” The team certainly seems confident that the title could come to Sony Computer Entertainment’s (SCE) console, then. Sadly no mention was made of support for the Project Morpheus VR HMD, though its certainly possible given the Oculus Rift support.
Albino Lullaby is a surreal first-person horror experience in which the developer aims to unnerve players not with gore but a sense of unpredictability. Player’s actions can often completely change the environments that they stand in and more. The title is set to be released across three different episodes, with the first hoping to arriving in Winter 2015. VRFocus will continue to follow Albino Lullaby going forward, reporting back with any further updates.
