In late June 2014 indie developer Jon Dadley released a new build of his amusing virtual reality (VR) music title, Stage Presence, to coincide with the Glastonbury music festival in the UK. Now that build of the title has found its way onto the official Oculus VR Share Beta, where it’s free to download on PC, Mac and Linux. The title comes with full support for the Oculus Rift VR headset.
Stage Presence casts players as the vocalist in a band that is playing in front of thousands of people at a festival. A technical problem causes the music to stop, and players must entertain the crowd by signing while the rest of the team works on fixing the issue. If the player sings well then the crowd will remain engaged. If they start to falter then they will have objects such as bottles thrown at them.
As the Oculus VR Share Beta lists, Stage Presence is available in pre-release form, meaning you can expect to see more from the title going forward. VRFocus will continue to follow the videogame’s progress, bringing you all the latest on its development.
