Yesterday VRFocus reported on the launch of a stillalive studio’s Son of Nor on Steam Early Access. The title is available in pre-release form, with support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) planned for release alongside the full version in roughly three months time. Now a trailer for the Early Access version of the title has been released and can be seen below.
The trailer, which lasts for just under a minute and a half, provides a brief run through of Son of Nor‘s various mechanics and gameplay styles. Consisting almost entirely of in-game footage, it shows off the title’s terraforming abilities being used to solve environment-based puzzles as well as telekenisis to fight enemies and more. Towards the end of the video is further confirmation of support for the Oculus Rift as well as a look at some of the other eye tracking-based devices that the full videogame will support.
Son of Nor is a third-person action-adventure title in which players use magically abilities to defend themselves against hostile enemies. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s progress going forward, reporting back with any further news and updates.
