The developers at ISART Digital are finally preparing to release their upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible shooter, The Rift: U.R.I.D.I.S.. Last week VRFocus delivered a look at the title in the form of a new trailer, and now a range of new screenshots have arrived, which can be seen below. The developer promises along with the images that the videogame is approaching release, though is set to announce a specific date.
“The final build is coming,” the developer wrote on its official blog.
“The Rift: U.R.I.D.I.S will be available on Share Oculus and on this blog!”
A total of four images for The Rift: U.R.I.D.I.S. can be seen below, each taken from the first-person cockpit view that players will utilise. The title has players flying aircraft through canyons at high speeds while fighting other enemies, which can also be seen in some of the shots. Two of the images depict a brighter canyon setting, while the other two seem to be set in a darker environment.
Given that The Rift: U.R.I.D.I.S. is heading for release on the official Oculus VR Share Beta, it could be that the title will release for free, although this is yet to be confirmed. It will however come with full support for the Oculus Rift VR headset. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s development leading up to launch, reporting back with any further updates.
