It appears that the developers at ISART Digital are ready to start making a big push on their upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible air combat title, The Rift: U.R.I.D.I.S.. As such, the team has today released the first trailer featuring gameplay footage of the experience, which can be seen below. The videogame is set to arrive with full support for the Oculus Rift VR headset.
The clip lasts just over a minute and twenty seconds and is comprised almost entirely of gameplay footage from the title. The trailer is split into sections, with the first showing a player racing through canyons, avoiding obstacles as they travel at high speeds. The next section focuses on the title’s dog fighting, showing players taking down enemies across both more open and linear environments.
The Rift: U.R.I.D.I.S. sets players in the cockpit of an air craft with a first-person view. It’s not yet clear when the title will be launching, or what platforms it will appear on. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s development, reporting back with any more updates on its progress.
