Indie developer Axyos Games’ steady stream of updates for its upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible first-person shooter (FPS) RIP continues with the release of new screenshots. The developer revealed the new images, which can be seen below, looking at two of the online title’s environments that players can expect to wage war in. RIP is set to launch with full support for the Oculus Rift VR headset.
Two new images taken from the title are below. The first shows a grassy area with two of the player-controller robots in sight. The other depicts an urban environment with shipping containers dotted about the map. The latter image also displays a machine gun that will feature in the final title.
RIP is a multiplayer FPS that’s set to feature elements of multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) titles such as DOTA 2. Players won’t level up a consistent multiplayer character throughout their time with the title, but will instead start each match on a level playing field with other opponents, giving the title a more skill-based focus. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s development, report back with ant more updates.
