Matt Carrell, creator of the motion-control device Stompz, has revealed another installment of his preview series using the device and a popular virtual reality (VR) videogame. Following the series debut with Affected, today we continue the previewing of Stompz with SnowDrift.
As with the first preview, the demonstration is conducted with a model experiencing the software for the first time. SnowDrift is a first-person experience in which players chose their own skiing route across an open-ended mountain resort. It features support for both the traditional keyboard setup as well as compatibility with game pads. SnowDrift, developed by Jespionage Entertainment, is currently available to download for free via the Oculus Share Beta website for both Windows PC and Mac format while Stompz is still in development. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on both products.
