Although it doesn’t have a major press conference in which to issue all of its news, Oculus VR has already had a busy time at this week’s E3 2014. First off the company revealed Lucky’s Tale, the second videogame to be published under its label, for the first time. Then it was confirmed that upcoming survival horror title Alien: Isolation will be using the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset. Now the company has revealed its full E3 2014 line up, including the aforementioned titles.
On top of these two new videogames, Oculus VR will be showing off two other VR titles at its booth on the show floor. The first is SUPERHOT, which was previously confirmed to be in attendence yesterday. The other is EVE: Valkyrie, CCP Games’ space combat simulator that has become something of a staple in Oculus VR’s booths and demos over the course of 2014. All titles will be playable with the Oculus Rift’s second development kit (DK2), which is due to ship to those that pre-ordered it next month.
That makes for three first-person titles in EVE: Valkyrie, SUPERHOT and Alien: Isolation, then. Lucky’s Tale is a third-person platform videogame in which players control a cartoon fox running around colourful stages. VRFocus will be aiming to bring you full coverage of each and every title on show at Oculus VR’s booth, so check back for news, hands-on impressions and previews.
