Independent developers Axyos Games have revealed a selection of new screenshots taken from their forthcoming PC title, RIP. Promising to deliver support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) as standard, RIP aims to bring the best of the role-playing game (RPG) and multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) genres to a first-person shooter (FPS) videogame.
RIP is a multiplayer-only videogame for which Axyos Games suggest the likes of Dota have been major influences. Players can enter the shoes of many different characters, using a combination of skills and tactics to win. There is no traditional levelling system, but instead the player’s progress is self-contained within each match, much like Counter-Strike or the Xbox 360 and PC’s 2007 edition of ShadowRun.
These new screenshots follow a brand new RIP trailer and are designed to showcase two new graphical effects: sharpness and colour correction. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on RIP.
