Following a successful Kickstarter campaign and confirmation of a console release for Grave, Broken Window Studios has revealed that a demo version of the videogame will be made available in the not too distant future. As promised during the successful Kickstarter campaign, this demo will be made available to financial backers first.
Grave is a survival horror videogame played in first-person. During the daytime the player is relatively free to explore at will, but once night falls the gameplay cycle shifts dramatically. VRFocus recently got hands-on with the videogame, in a preview of Grave: “Light is your friend. Without light, you will soon be dead. You’ll probably soon be dead anyway, but light gives you a fighting chance. Come nightfall you’ll find the reason why Grave offers all of these light-giving tools and it’s not just so that you can see in the dark.”
The news of a demo version being made available soon came via Tristan Moore, Creative Director at Broken Window Studios, who stated on Twitter: “Doing a jam this weekend with the team to get @GraveGame ready for its backer demo. Announcing its release to backers soon!”
No specific release date for the demo version has yet been announced, however it will include Oculus Rift support as standard. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on Grave and other virtual reality (VR) titles from Broken Window Studios.
