There are many developers working in virtual reality (VR) in modern times due to the enthusiasm they had for the technology in the late 80s and early 90s. Of course, VR didn’t become the entertainment powerhouse it was expected to be back then for a number of reasons – most notably cost and size – but times have changed. The Oculus Rift is leading the charge for a brand new wave of VR technology, and Innervision Games is looking to be ready on the starting blocks for when this second coming arrives with consumers.
Currently developing Ethereon as a solo project, Innervision Games’ Tony Davidson is pursuing a career-long dream. This is a project born of passion and risk-taking, and as Davidson addresses many of the issues facing modern VR this shows. He’s a man of many words and all of them express a deep love of the potential of VR as an entertainment medium. You can watch the full interview with Davidson below and VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on Ethereon.
