Frontier Developments has revealed the latest trailer for its upcoming space combat title, Elite: Dangerous. The new trailer, which can be seen below, was posted as part of E3 2014, which is running this week. It boasts just over two minutes of new footage from the title, which features support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset on PC.
The footage gives us a glimpse at some of the first-person cockpit view combat found in Elite: Dangerous. An atmospheric scene setters sets a player spaceship leaving its hangar before a monstage cuts in showing some new action as well as making some loft promises about the upcoming title’s ambitions.
Frontier Developments recently revealed that it is working with the Oculus Rift’s second develoment kit (DK2) on Elite: Dangerous. The title is currently in the premium beta phase of development. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s progress, reporting back with any more updates.
