Valve has been hosting its popular Steam summer sale for the past few days now, with plenty of deals on popular titles coming and going every 24 hours. Other publishers are also hosting their sales on the digital platform right now, including indie publisher Mastertronic. In fact the company is even putting a virtual reality (VR) compatible title on sale in the form of Hypersloth Games’ Dream.
While remaining in its Early Access stage, the Oculus Rift compatible Dream can be picked up for £8.70 GBP until 30th June 2014, when the price will return to £12.99. The title is a first-person exploration piece that has players solving puzzles and uncovering a narrative as they journey through the dreams of Howard Phillips. Phillips constantly suffers from feelings of dread and despair, and players will experience those subconcious elements as they journey through his mind.
Other title’s featured in Mastertronic’s sale include 66% off of Blast ‘Em!, 75% off of The Chaos Engine, and 25% off of Concursion among many others.
Dream is currently available on PC, with two of its three acts available through Early Access. The developer hopes to release the title in full in the fourth quarter of 2014. It recently provided a development update as to just how well it was progressing, and has in the past suggested that the title could arrive on PlayStation 4 with support for the Project Morpheus VR headset. VRFocus will continue to follow Dream‘s progress, bringing you all the latest.
