Trinity VR has teased its upcoming gun peripheral for virtual reality (VR) experiences during a 60 Second Pitch session at the Silicon Valley Virtual Reality (SVVR) Conference & Expo 2014. The company brought a version of its peripheral, dubbed the Trinity Magnum, onto the stage the stage for the audience to have a first look. Few details were confirmed, though the device is sure to make the rounds later on at the expo.
The peripheral was teased as ‘basically Duck Hunt for VR’, suggesting that players use the device much like they did in the classic videogame that used the NES Zapper light gun peripheral. That said, supported software wasn’t announced at this point in time.
