The developers behind upcoming puzzle-based first-person shooter (FPS) SUPERHOT have updated the Kickstarter campaign for the title. A new post from the team has revealed an all new stretch goal in light of the campaign recently passing its second target of $150,000 USD. The just-passed goal secures a Speedrun mode for the title, while the newly added one teases a New Game+ mode.
“Thanks to your help we’ve managed to get past another of our stretch goals!” the developer wrote. “As promised we’ll introduce a Speedrun Mode in SUPERHOT.”
The developer describes the New Game + mode, set at $230,000, as one of its favourite features. Should that amount be raised then the developers will add in a set of modifers for player’s second runthrough of the campaign. Certain modifers such as unlimited ammo and a new difficulty level were teased as well as weapon-specfic playthroughs.
A $200,000 stretch goal for a new Replay Mode is also yet to be unlocked, though the campaign isn’t set to close until 14th June 2014. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s progress and report back with any more updates.
