The first screenshots for StreumOn Studio’s upcoming compatible first-person shooter (FPS) Space Hulk: Deathwing have arrived. A total of 5 new images can be seen below, taking a look at the upcoming title which follows a group of Space Marine Terminators from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The developer has said to VRFocus in the past that it is hoping to launch the title with full support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset.
The title is being developed using Epic Game’s Unreal Engine 4, which can be seen in full effect in the images. There’s a look at the title’s protagonist as well as a glimpse at the enemies that players will come up against, named Genestealers. Space Hulk: Deathwing is set to launch on PC with support for the Oculus Rift, though the developer has previously said that there’s a chance it could some to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One too.
VRFocus spoke StreumOn’s Pierrick Le Nestour earlier in the year about the possible Oculus Rift support. VRFocus will continue to follow the title and report back with any more updates on its VR integration.
