Untold Games has released a new video for its upcoming virtual reality (VR) exclusive project, Loading Human, describing the title in more detail and revealing some new footage from the Unreal Engine 4 build. Designer Flavio Parenti provides commentary for the video, seen below, which also takes a look at the early pre-alpha build of the title running in Unity 4. The title is set to support the Oculus Rift VR headset as well as a possible PlayStation 4 port with Project Morpheus in the future.
The video explains that players can pick up every object they find within Loading Human, from books to other items found on desks and shelves. Books, for example, will be individually designed with pages that users will have to read by holding the text up to their eyes. The footage ends with nearly 2 minutes of gameplay taken from the new Unreal Engine 4 build of the title, showcasing the visual improvements in a laboratory environment.
Loading Human is currently running a Kickstarter campaign hoping to raise $30,000 USD by 5th June 2015. At the time of writing the campaign has raised over $22,500, with 22 days to go until its end. VRFocus will continue to follow Loading Human‘s progress and report back with any more updates.
