A new trailer has been released for the upcoming multiplayer sandbox title, BLOCKABOUT. The footage, which can be seen below, shows off the first-person experience in its Beta form with over 2 minutes of gameplay. Those interested can gain access to that Beta now by purchasing it from the title’s official website.
BLOCKABOUT, which supports virtual reality (VR) through use of the Oculus Rift VR headset, allows players to customise their own maps and build objects using a in-game level editor or the title’s unique Block Launcher weapon. Maps can be shared online with friends, and vehicles, weapons and more can be added for players to experiment with, perhaps setting up their own online matches or simply destroying everything that’s been built.
The Beta is currently in version 1.2 and costs $9.95 USD. It hasn’t been revealed when the full version might become available. VRFocus will continue to follow any and all VR titles and bring you the latest on them.
