Indie developer Mad Games, which specialises in exploration experiences, has announced its debut videogame, Sofia for PC. The title is a first-person horror experience, developed in Unity and is set to support the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset. It will feature puzzle elements and will use black and white visuals.
Sofia is set in an abandoned, ruined town, with players trying to discover a mystery surrounding the area. It appears to be an open world title which utilises weather conditions such as snow, fog and wind. The title’s description, which is translated from Italian, suggests that it will also have the ‘ability to choose different resolutions’, which could refer to multiple endings.
Not much else is known about the title as of yet, including the likes of a release date and additional platforms. That said the developer has set up a Facebook page where it is likely to post new updates. VRFocus will continue to follow Sofia and report back with any more news on the title.
