Indie developer Untold Games has updated its Kickstarter campaign for the upcoming virtual reality (VR) exclusive adventure title, Loading Human. The update reconfigures some of the campaign’s pledge tiers, adding more content to pre-existing levels and revealing entirley new ones too. As a result, the price of digital, DRM-free copy of the first chapter of the PC and Mac title has dropped from $35 USD to $25.
The $35 tier now consists of access to the title 2 weeks before the full release, as well as a digital version of the soundtrack. Also new is a $49 tier that will grant players access to an ‘aplha sandbox’, letting them tour environments once the campaign has been completed. Finally, a $70 tier has been added, which includes a season pass that grants players access to all 3 chapters of Loading Human upon their release.
Loading Human is closing in on its Kickstarter goal of $30,000, with over $21,000 raised at the time of writing. The campaign will come to a close on 5th June 2014, meaning it still has over 3 weeks of funding left in it. The title is hoping to release its first chapter in February 2015. A PlayStation 4 version of the experience using the Project Morpheus headset is also being planned, though work won’t being on it until after the completion of the PC and Mac versions. VRFocus will continue to follow Loading Human‘s progress and bring you the latest.
