UPDATE: Steamburger Studios has contacted VRFocus to confirm that Let’s Go Camping! will still support the Oculus Rift.

Original Story: Indie developer Steamburger Studios’ upcoming compatible first-person shooter (FPS) Let’s Go Camping! has successfully passed its Steam Greenlight campaign. The title will now be available to purchase on Valve’s digital store when it finally launches as a full experience. A specific date for said launch is not yet known, though the developer has said that the title is getting its full attention.
“Thank you so much for your votes and feedback!” the developer wrote in a Steam update. “Now that we’re Greenlit, it’s all about getting the game to a place that will make your votes proud.”
Let’s Go Camping! is an FPS roguelike dungeon crawler in which players explore caves, temples and dungeons armed with a bow and arrow. The title was set to support the Oculus Rift VR headset if it passed its Kickstarter campaign. However the campaign was not successful, leaving the support in question despite development continuing..
Let’s Go Camping! is aiming to release in 2015 on PC, Mac and Linux. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s progress and report back with any more updates and news.
