Hover: Revolt of Gamers Passes $80,000 Stretch Goal, Doubles City Size

Fusty Game’s upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible title, Hover: Revolt of Gamers, has passed yet another stretch goal on its Kickstarter campaign. The goal, set at $80,000 USD, was to double the size of the city enivronment and add an entirley new district. The campaign has now surpassed its initial $38,000 goal by almost $45,000, with over 2 weeks left on the clock before the 22nd May 2014 closing date.


The developer noted in a Kickstarter update that “the dream to have a true futuristic megalopolis like in the best SF movies will come true ! Thanks again for your support ! [sic]”

Hover: Revolt of Gamers is an upcoming PC, Mac, Linux PlayStation 4 and Xbox One title in which players perform stunts and tricks around a city controlled by an anti-videogame authority. The title features support for the Oculus Rift VR headset on PC, although hasn’t yet confirmed support for the Project Morpheus headset on PlayStation 4. It is inspired by the Jet Set Radio franchise, and even includes a score from series director Hideki Naganuma.

The Kickstarter campaign for Hover: Revolt of Gamers now aims towards a $100,000 stretch goal, which will unlock local multiplayer and a Wii U version of the experience. VRFocus will continue to follow Hover: Revolt of Gamers and report back with all the latest.
