MAG Studios has provided an update on the development of its upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible horror title Ghostship Aftermath, releasing the title’s first full demo for those that pre-ordered it. The developer took to the official Oculus VR forums to talk about the progress it’s making on the experience, which is set to support the Oculus Rift VR headset. A new batch of screenshots were also provided with the update, which can be seen below.
“We have made lots of headway and polished up much of the issues we needed sorting,” the developer wrote.
“Huge changes in store for final beta in a few weeks time. As we now have the core mechanics exactly how they should be we will be compiling the first (full demo) for members which will be available tomorrow [Sunday 11th May] This demo should be released on oculus share at the end of the month, beginning of June.”
The ‘members’ that the developer refers to include those that pre-ordered the title.
Ghostship Aftermath is a survival horror title being developed in conjunction with the team’s other VR compatible title, CDF Ghostship. VRFocus will continue to follow the progress of both titles and bring you the latest on them.
