Krillbite Studio has confirmed that its upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible title Among The Sleep will be launching on 29th May 2014. The developer confirmed as much with the release of a new trailer for the first-person horror experience, which can be seen below. The date applies to the PC, Mac and Linux versions of the videogame, which feature support for the Oculus Rift VR headset.
The trailer shows off nearly 2 minutes of footage from the title, in which players control a 2 year old child that awakens in the middle of the night to strange noises, heading off to explore them. The footage provides a glimpse of the player’s teddy bear companion as well as range of enivronments that the title will take them through. Confirmation of the release date comes at the very end of the clip.
A PlayStation 4 version of Among The Sleep is also in the works with support for the Project Morpheus VR headset. It isn’t clear when the console version will be launching, though it won’t be next week. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s progress and report back with all the latest updates.
