Next VR Brighton Meetup Sets May Date

VR Brighton has set a date for its upcoming second meetup. The next event will be hosted on 14th May 2014 at the vbrighton coworking studio. An official Meetup page has also been set up for those that want to attend, allowing them to register and find out what else will be on. The event is set to showcase a number of virtual reality (VR) videogames from indie developers and provide a chance for VR enthusiasts a chance to catch up.

“After our great first meetup, it’s time to get together again for all things VR related,” the meetup page reads. “Whether you just want to play on some of the latest demos, try VR for the first time, show off your own demos, or just have a beer and chat to VR developers and enthusiasts, then this is the night for you.”

The first event was held on 16th April, with future shows planned to on the second Wednesday of every month from here on out. May’s event will start at 7pm. Those interested are encouraged to come along with their own laptops stacked with demos for the Oculus Rift VR headset that they might like to try, or to get in touch and request to have a demo downloaded onto one of the machines at the show.
