Indie Developer Marauder Interactive has released a new trailer for its upcoming space combat title, Enemy Starfighter. The experience, which supports virtual reality (VR) with the Oculus Rift headset, will also be heading to the PAX East event in Boston next week. It will be on display at the Indie Megabooth where attendees can go hands-on with the exeprience from 11th – 13th April 2014.
Enemy Starfighter sits players in the cockpit of a spaceship and has them fighting hordes of enemies. It is the work of Mike Tipul, a developer with previous experience at Bungie working on Halo: Reach‘s space combat mission, a first for the franchise. Tipul hopes to release the title on PC, Mac and Linux.
It won’t be the title’s first visit to a PAX event; Enemy Starfighter attended PAX Prime in Seattle last year, which wasn’t much of a move given that it is being developed there. VRFocus will continue to follow Enemy Starfighter‘s progress and report back with all the latest.
