A developer going by the name of kenji has released a simple virtual reality (VR) experience onto the Oculus VR Share Beta titled Matsumoto Fly. The title is a simplistic first-person experience that is available to download for free on PC. There isn’t any mention of possible Mac and Linux versions of the title coming later.
In Matsumoto Fly players stand in a remote area and jump into the sky. They must then use the Oculus Rift’s head tracking and click left and right to twist and fit their avatar into rings on the way back down. Once they hit the ground the title simply resets for them to try again. A scoring system keeps track of how well the player does every time.
Matsumoto Fly is just one of a jump of titles to recently hit the Oculus VR Share Beta, though is does bear resemblance to another experience named Hiyoshi Jump. VRFocus will continue to follow the development of any and all VR titles and bring them to you.
