Born Ready Games has release three new images of the upcoming Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut, comparing the title’s ship models to the original version. This Director’s Cut is due to release on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in March 2014 with a PC version following shortly afterwards. The original title supports virtual reality (VR) with the Oculus Rift headset on PC.
The images, which can be seen below, show a clear improvement in the ship models for the space combat title. Pictured are comparisons on the Allied Frigate, Allied Apex Fighter and, of course, the Strike Suit itself. The original title released in January 2013 and later became one of the few titles to officially integrate Oculus Rift support into the experience. Details on if the Director’s Cut will also include this support are yet to be confirmed.
VRFocus reviewed the original Strike Suit Zero last month. How the new version stacks up compared to the impressive original remains to be seen. VRFocus will continue to follow the progress of Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut and report back with all the latest.
