Indie developer Retroburn Game Studios has confirmed that it will be releasing a final pre-release demo for its virtual reality (VR) compatible racing title, Positron, in the next week. The title, which tasks players with navigating a futuristic maze on Tron-like bikes, has seen two previous demos, both of which can be found on the title’s Steam Greenlight page. Positron supports virtual reality (VR) through use of the Oculus Rift VR headset.
The demo will give players a chance to try out all three of the final title’s bikes as well as levels taken from each mode and a new difficulty setting. Retroburn has encouraged players to give feedback on the title, despite it being in the late stages of development.
It was also stressed that Positron‘s Greenlight campaign is currently struggling. It’s the teams hope that this demo and the release of an upcoming Android and iOS version of the title will raise awareness and help get it through the program. VRFocus will continue to follow Positron‘s progress and report back with all the latest.
