Upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible title Glitchspace has officially passed Steam’s Greenlight program. The title, which supports the Oculus Rift VR headset, is one of 75 other titles that passed through Valve’s initiative this week, including other VR titles Classroom Aquatic and Tabletop Simulator.
Glitchspace is developed by indie team Space Budgie. It’s a stylised first-person platform title in which players manipulate surfaces to cross gaps and reach the end of a level. Blocks can be moved, resized, removed and more to create a path forward. It boasts a unique minimalist visual style. The title is currently available to purchase in its alpha state, with version 1.2 releasing late last month. The developer is yet to confirm a release date for the full title.
Space Budgie is currently showing off Glitchspace at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. VRFocus will continue to bring you all the latest on the title’s development as it happens.
