Another virtual reality (VR) compatible title has been confirmed for the EGX Rezzed event this weekend in Birmingham. HyperSloth Games’ first-person adventure title, Dream, will be on display for attendees to try out. The developer has confirmed that it will be bringing along an Oculus Rift VR headset for testing out with the title.
HyperSloth will be demoing the first two acts of its title. Dream takes its inspiration from surreal exploration titles such as Yume Nikki and Dear Esther. Players are cast as young graduate Howard Phillips, who develops an obsession with dreams. You’ll solve puzzles and uncover secrets in a quest to help the protagonist find the meaning of his life.
Dream is currently available through Steam’s Early Access program for £12.99 GBP. The early version of the title doesn’t feature every level but players will receive the final version of the title upon release. Meanwhile, EGX Rezzed runs from 28th – 30th March 2014 at the NEC in Birmingham. Other VR titles at the show include Monstrum and Ether One. VRFocus will be at the show to cover all the latest on VR titles.
