CCP to Demo EVE: Valkyrie to London Fans on Friday
CCP Games, the developers behind the EVE franchise, will be showing off EVE: Valkyrie to fans in London this Friday, 7th March 2014. As announced on the title’s official forums, members of the development team will be showing off the virtual reality (VR) title with a number of Oculus Rift headsets at the Goodman’s Field pub.
The event will start at 6pm and last until closing time. Users will have the chance to go hands on with the space dogfighting title, which is exclusive to the Oculus Rift for the time being. Members of the CCP team include Community Developer CCP Guard, developer CCP Xhagen, Lead Game Designer CCP Duchess and UX Designer CCP Masheen.
CCP is even running a competition to give players the chance to win a cage-side seat to the upcoming UFC match at the O2 Arena on Saturday, 8th March. CCP recently announced that it would be bringing a new build of the title to its annual EVE Fanfest event in May. VRFocus will continue to follow the development of EVE: Valkyrie and bring you all the latest on the project.
