Biofeedback Horror Title Nevermind Adds Oculus Rift Support

Nevermind, a first-person horror experience that uses biofeedback, has added support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset to its Kickstarter campaign. At the time of writing the project has just under two days left to reach its goal of $250,000 USD.

Nevermind_1Nevermind uses sensors strapped to the player to read when they are scared and stressed. When this is the case, the title becomes harder, encouraging players to calm down to progress. The developers, led by Creative Director Erin Reynolds, had previously said that they would explore Oculus Rift support for the game but added it in officially after backer feedback.

Backers can pick up digital copy of Nevermind by pledging $20 to the project. Should it pass its Kickstarter campaign then the title is expected to ship to backers in June. VRFocus will continue to follow the project’s development and report back with any news.
