Focus Home Interactive are set to publish a brand new Space Hulk videogame next year, Streum On’s Space Hulk: Deathwing. Opposed to simply creating a virtual edition of the hugely popular board game, Space Hulk: Deathwing is bringing the Warhammer 40,000 universe to life in a brand new first-person shooter. VRFocus recently sat down with the videogame, but also had the opportunity to discuss it with the creative team.
Space Hulk: Deathwing intends to stay true to the rules established by the Space Hulk board and build upon it’s atmosphere. One way the development team intend to create this is with the use of virtual reality (VR) headsets; primarily the forthcoming Oculus Rift. Streum On’s Pierrick Le Nestour discusses this and many other aspects of the development, including the potential for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions of Space Hulk: Deathwing, in the exclusive VRFocus interview below.
