NVIDIA’s VR Funhouse has seen over 165,000 downloads on Steam since launching in September, and now it’s also available on the Oculus Store. User feedback has centred on the demand for Steam Achievements, and a new update is now making that possible. Furthermore, a new mod filled with festive spirit is now available to download.
With the addition of Steam Achievements players can compete for highest score which will be tracked while you play VR Funhouse. Just download the latest VR Funhouse update on Steam, and Steam Achievements will be waiting for you. The latest mod, developed internally by NVIDIA, can be downloaded via the Steam Workshop Page.
The VR Funhouse Mod Kit allows modders to access the videogame’s Unreal Engine 4 blueprints and assets to create mods and new levels to share with the world via Steam Workshop. There are now several VR Funhouse mods to play on the Steam Workshop page, including some mods created at the VR Funhouse Game Jam that took place in September.
NVIDIA are also beginning a series of developer ‘how-to’ sessions on Twitch to help the VR community build new experiences, the first of which is scheduled for Friday, 16th September 2016, at 1:00 pm PST, via https://www.twitch.tv/nvidiagamedeveloper.
VR Funhouse is now available to download for the Oculus Rift with Oculus Touch and HTC Vive. Nine mini-games are available as standard, with more available via Steam Workshop. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest additions to NVIDIA’s VR Funhouse.
