Radial-G Dev Talks Early Access, Preparing for Consumer Oculus and Project Morpheus

Today sees indie developer Tammeka Games reach a significant milestone in its long journey with futuristic virtual reality (VR) compatible racing title, Radial-G. The developer is due to release the Early Access version of the title imminently, offering fans an expanded taste of the experience before a full launch later down the line. VRFocus recently spoke to the developer’s Sam Watts about the new release.

In the interview below Watts talks about exactly what content will be included in the Early Access version of Radial-G, which sees players racing on tubular courses using the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). There’s also a tease of what’s to come in future updates and why the Early Access won’t be available for a ‘prolonged’ period.

VRFocus will continue to follow Radial-G closely, reporting back with any further updates on the title. Recently we took a look at the videogame’s multiplayer options, which you can read about here.
