Last week indie developer Ape Law launched its Kickstarter campaign for a new virtual reality (VR) compatible horror videogame, Ablino Lullaby. The team hopes to raise $25,000 USD by 21st September 2014 in order to fund the title’s marketing, helping the team attend industry events among other aspects. Now the first screenshots for the experience have arrived, which can be seen below.
A total of 12 images taken directly from the title can be seen. They showcase Albino Lullaby‘s diverse environments, which players will explore in first-person as they uncover the title’s story. The title looks to scare players on a psychological level instead of using simply shock tactics. This will include these environments radically changing as players progress through them.
Should Albino Lullaby‘s Kickstarter campaign prove successful then the first of three episodes hopes to launch in December 2014 on PC with full support for the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD). Console versions are also a possibility. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s progress going forward, reporting back with any further updates on its development.
