Surgeon Simulator developer Bossa Studios has played host to one of the biggest virtual reality (VR) meetups in London throughout 2014. Every few months the team opens its doors for VR developers and enthusiasts to gather under one roof and talk about the technology, usually with an array of VR demos also on display. A number of speakers are also lined up to share presentations on VR development and more. It’s been a few months since the last event in April 2014, but the next event has finally been scheduled.
The next Bossa VR Meetup will take place on 2nd September 2014, with registration open now. Speakers and demos are yet to be announced, though the developer promises that ‘as always, they will be AMAZING.’ The event will get underway at 19:00 BST at the developer’s studio at Zetland House, 5-25 Scrutton Street, London. Attendence is free as always, though spaces will surely be limited so make sure to RSVP as early as possible.
This is of course Bossa Studios’ first VR Meetup since the team announced a PlayStation 4 support of its popular Surgeon Simulator title at E3 2014 in June. The developer hasn’t is yet to confirm if it will be showing off the title, which is aiming to utilise the Project Morpheus VR headset, at the event. VRFocus will continue to follow any and all happenings in the VR industry, bringing you the latest.
