The Farm 51’s upcoming first-person shooter, Get Even, has successfully passed its Steam Greenlight campaign, meaning it will be sold on Valve’s digital storefront come full release. The developer revealed that it had received over 13,000 votes to get the title Greenlit within just a few days of the campaign being posted. New concept art showing the titles enemies was also debuted as way of thanks.
The art, which can be seen below, offers a glimpse of how the title’s human enemies will look as well as the weapons some will carry. While some enemies appear to be well-equipped special operatives, there seem to be some more disturbed designs too which serve to compliment the title’s promised horror elements. Opponents can also be seen holding machetes and baseball bats too.
Get Even is an FPS that is looking to blur the lines between single and multiplayer campaigns with human players invading other players stories to fight them. The narrative is said to be non-linear, with players using sci-fi gadgets and surveillance equipment to predict the future and get the upper hand on enemies.
The Farm 51 has confirmed that it will be bringing Get Even to both the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset on PC and the Project Morpheus headset on PlayStation 4, with release aiming for some time in 2015. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s development and report back with all the latest.
