The developer behind the upcoming massively multiplayer experience Wander has released a new trailer for the title in time for the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2014. The footage, which can be seen below, provides a brief glimpse at the title’s island setting as well as a hint at the narrative. Support for virtual reality (VR) has been confirmed for the title’s PC version, using the Oculus Rift VR headset.

Wander is a non-combat, non-competitive MMO. Instead of fighting others, players explore the setting as a giant tree. As the title progresses, storms will transform your avatar. Players can work together to unlock new experiences and uncover the title’s story.

Wander is due out on both PC and the PlayStation 4. Could it also support the latter’s rumoured VR headset? It’s currently running a Steam Greenlight campaign. VRFocus will be bringing you all the latest on the title as it happens.
